"All actions of service are a direct expression of gratitude for this rare and precious opportunity to experience the totality of Life."
The Mana Farm, Vanessa's newest vehicle for service, is a visionary farm with humanitarian roots. Our farm is a sanctuary for self inquiry, natural living, and community, immersed in a sacred landscape of life-giving, soul-nourishing beauty on the Big Island of Hawaii. We have a vision for our daily work and devotion to growing vibrant, love-filled food and medicine continue to serve beyond the harvest. We are growing projects that unite diverse community, inspire young visionaries, and mentor emerging community leaders to realize the power within themselves and actualize their visions in the world. We do this through the Mana Project, our non-profit organization offering transformational, experiential learning opportunities in the fields of regenerative agriculture, humanitarian service and community healing arts.
The Institute for Emerging Visionaries, co-founded by Vanessa, serves as an incubator for young leaders who are committed to actualizing their visions in service to humanity. Through facilitation training, self-inquiry, trauma healing and heart-centered leadership training; The Institute for Emerging Visionaries is dedicated to helping provide the tools and resources necessary for youth from around the globe to create experiences in which diverse groups of people can gather with the intention to heal, connect, serve and discover the unique gifts they have to share with the world.
The California Global Youth Peace Summit unites youth from all over the world to create a community of inspired leaders. The Summit provides an opportunity to see that beyond our nationality, ethnicity, beliefs, past experiences and present circumstances, we are all human beings who essentially want the same things: acceptance, equity, hope and peace. This fundamental understanding ignites compassion. The Summit inspires youth to turn this compassion into action by giving them the necessary tools and support to make an impact in their homes, their communities, their world, among their peers and within themselves.
The Amala Foundation, a non-profit humanitarian service organization founded by Vanessa, offers many opportunities to deepen in service. Please visit the Amala website to find out more, or stop by the community center in Austin at 1006 S. 8th Street, 78704.
